The Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police provides support in budgeting, purchasing, accounting and payroll duties. The Administrative Assistant is actively involved with the groundwork of all Police Department Federal and State Grants which include preparation and close out reports.
Administrative Assistant Dora Murphy began her employment in January 1991 as a 911 Operator; in early 2000 she accepted her current position. Ms. Murphy also is the Administrative Assistant for the Fire & Police Commission which administers testing for both the Police and Fire Departments.
