This video was compiled from three days of firarms training in late September 2010. Officers are encouraged to hone their skills as sharpshooters in order to insure that they hit what they are aiming for. In 1997, a bank robbery gone bad turned into a horror show when the badguys immediately outgunned responding officers in North Hollywood, California. Officers had to borrow longuns from a gun store in order to attempt to try to engange them. Numerous innocent bystanders, along with police officers were shot and seriously injured. Officers are trained to engage and overcome if an unfortunate situation arises.
